The Ordering Process

There's no preset formula with Exclusive Steering. All of our wheels are built from a compatible core, depending on your input. Here’s how it works:

• Decide on the shape of your wheel
• Choose your base materials
• Refine the look with unique stitching and patterns
• Select your thickness preference
• Add functional upgrades, like LED lights or heating

We’ll send you a full design proof before anything moves forward, so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting. Every VW steering wheel is built to order with a 5 to 6-week production window.

Contact and Support

Some builds are more straightforward than others. If they aren’t, we’ll happily go back and forth with design ideas until we get the outcome you want. That’s part of the process. Exclusive Steering has been doing this for over 15 years, and all of that experience goes into the design process, before we even start building the wheel.

We'll walk you through materials, proportions, and what makes sense for your car, not just what looks good in photos.

Every Volkswagen steering wheel comes with our exclusive three-year warranty.

Shipping Information

We offer free shipping within the United States, a $80 flat rate to Canada, and a $120 flat rate for international orders. Because each VW steering wheel is made to order, expect a 5- to 6-week production window before it ships.

FAQ

Can you match my interior?

Send us a few photos of your cabin, and we'll take it from there. Most customers start with their stitching color or trim finish and build outward. We’ll tell you what works and what doesn't. Get in touch with us to order samples to compare against your existing interior.

Do I need to send in my steering wheel first?

Not necessarily. Most of our VW steering wheels are built from a compatible core, so you don't have to take your car apart ahead of time. You can also keep driving your car while waiting for your steering wheel. 

In the rare case that we don’t have a matching core, you can send yours in for a credit. Just check with us before ordering.
